Very Busy Fall Weekend with family

It was such a beautiful weekend here in Colorado, my daughter got to come home from College for a couple of days, she just got done with Mid Terms at Western State College in Gunnison so we had Pizza and watched some movies, then Saturday the whole family got to shoot rifles getting ready for hunting season starting next weekend.

Then She and I headed to Leadville, Colorado to check out the Evergreen Cemetery in Leadville, that is one of the creepiest cemeteries you will ever see.. She had to do some research for a class project there.  I walked around and looked at all the old headstones and how peaceful it was.  Still a creepy cemetery no matter what.

On Sunday we shot our rifles some more, so now I am really really sore both my back and my arm, but I know if I see an Elk it will go DOWN!! Meat in the freezer is the most important thing to me for my family.

My daughter just left to head back to school (Sad for me) but she will be home again next weekend since Saturday morning Hunting starts for our season, we usually leave the house around 4 or 5 am to get up in the mountains before first light.  Now I have to get laundry done for the week.. Get all of my husbands work clothes washed and hung up and get dinner going plus enough for the lunches for the guys too.  It is 70 degrees today here in the high country, that is not good.. Right now we need to start getting some snow and a little colder for the Elk to start coming down to lower elevations for hunting, it does not look like that is going to happen at all this next week.
Time to go feed all of the critters and start dinner.. Have a Happy Sunday
